March 20 & 21, 2026

Welcome to the 30th edition of the Eastern Canada Sport and Exercise Symposium (ECSEPS). Founded at the University of Ottawa in 1996, ECSEPS is a leading international student-run conference in sport psychology and human kinetics. This conference provides an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to present their research as well as proposed applied work, in progress or completed. Over the years, ECSEPS has grown from a one-day conference with 18 presentations, to an action-packed weekend conference with over 150 presentations. ECSEPS is proud to present research conducted in Canada and the Northeastern United States.
This coming ECSEPS will be held in Niagara Falls, Ontario at the Wyndham Grand Fallsview Hotel!

Brock University, founded in 1964, holds the unique distinction of being the only university situated within a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Situated within the Niagara Escarpment, Brock offers students a supportive academic environment and engaging natural beauty. Kinesiology students are offered hands-on opportunities in sports medicine clinics and performance coaching with varsity athletes. By working alongside athletes, coaches, and sport medicine professionals, students gain valuable insight into the mental demands of competition. This experience provides a strong foundation for sport psychology research and practice.

Brock University acknowledges the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Agreement. Today this gathering place is home to many First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples and acknowledging reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.
