The Eastern Canada Sport & Exercise Psychology Symposium

Welcome to the 28th edition of the Eastern Canada Sport and Exercise Symposium (ECSEPS). Founded at the University of Ottawa in 1996, ECSEPS is a leading international student-run conference in sport psychology and human kinetics. This conference provides an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to present their research as well as proposed applied work, in progress or completed. Over the years, ECSEPS has grown from a one-day conference with 18 presentations, to an action-packed weekend conference with over 150 presentations. ECSEPS is proud to present research conducted in Canada and the Northeastern United States.

Hart House is a centre for experiential education outside the classroom at the University of Toronto. Since it first opened its doors in 1919, Hart House has sought to function as a place where students—as well as faculty, staff, alumni and members of the broader community—find welcome and unique ways to connect with each other and the broader world through engagement with the arts, dialogue and wellness.

Open 365 days a year, we are proud to have Hart House as our host location for ECSEPS 2024!

We wish to acknowledge this land on which the University of Toronto operates.

For thousands of years it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and the Mississaugas of the Credit. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
